Critical Care Unit

The Critical Care Unit provides intensive care, coronary care and high dependency specialties. It is located on the ground floor of the Lenah Valley Campus.

This area provides patient care for complex advanced surgical and medical procedures, neurosurgery, cardiac, orthopaedic, gastro intestinal and vascular cases and is supported by 24 hour access to Intensivists (intensive care specialists) and our hospital medical officers.

Our critical care unit is Tasmania's leading private acute facility, resourced by experienced registered nurses and is maintained with specialsied technology.
